50 Years of Giave! We started our activity in 1968 and since then, during this half century, we have developed a complete catalogue in which constant improvements in the performance, quality and technology of our equipment are integrated.

Manufacture of the first machine combining flexographic and rotogravure printing units in line and for the same application.
2009
Manufacture of a rotogravure printing press specially designed for the printing of stamps, incorporating rotogravure printing units, die-cutting, digital printing, cutting and exit to a sheeter.
2006
Manufacture of the first flexographic machine completely gear-less, suitable for high quality printing and quickness for job changes.
2001
Giave introduces in the market the first new generation rotogravure printing press equipped with electronic shaft, with movement by independent servomotors.
1997
Moving into the new facilities, located in the industrial area of Pla de Llerona and occupying an area of 4000 m2 for manufacturing and 600 m2 for offices.
1993
Improvement of the rotogravure printing units, incorporating interchangeable ink trolleys.
1986
Manufacture of the flexograhic printing press model GAMMAFLEX, successfully commercialized.
1980
Creation of GIAVE S. A. and registration of the trademark GIAVE. The activity of the company focuses only on the manufacture of machinery for the printing of flexible materials.
1978
Manufacture of the first rotogravure printing press. GIAVE as a trademark is started to be used.
1974
Manufacture of the first flexographic printing press. At this time, the company decides to focus solely on the business of printing machinery.

Early design and manufacture of flexographic printing presses.

Start of the activity as a mechanical workshop where machinery in general was manufactured and repaired.
