Txapela was born from a trip to the north and a love at first sight with its people, its gastronomy, and its culture of enjoyment. And how could we not bring it to Madrid and Barcelona! After all, as they say, “Basques are born wherever they want.” So be it: Txotx!

BASQUE PINTXOS

Pintxos are a hallmark of the Basque Country, referring to small gastronomic creations on a slice of bread, but also to a gilda or a tapa. The common denominator: quality ingredients and fun.

EL PINTXO-POTE

In Euskadi, people go out for poteo or txikiteo, meaning they drink in several bars as part of a social ritual—because there is no pintxo without a drink. At Txapela, our star is txakoli, bottled exclusively for us in Orio. A well-poured cider, a crianza, or a zurito are also essential for the perfect pintxo-pote experience.
