Manel discovered paddle surfing in 2019 while walking around Barceloneta when he discovered Espai de Mar <\/a> and he met Helena Ribas, who would become his coach. Since then they have formed a tandem together in which they learn from each other.<\/p>\n

According to Amat, \u201cSport in the case of people with functional diversity has two aspects: one reinforces that musculature and those capacities that we have and the other part of rehabilitation. There is also an integrating part of socialization and obviously, sport provides the same benefits that it can bring to people who do not have any type of disability. ”<\/p>\n
