The Mizuno fitting offering has now been expanded to encompass the <strong>RBTour <\/strong>and<strong> RBTour X balls, RB566 <\/strong>and<strong> RB566V balls<\/strong>, and the <strong>ST200 driver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The latest version of Mizuno\u2019s <strong>Shaft Optimizer 3D (SO3D)<\/strong> <strong>software<\/strong> will allow for <strong>ball fitting<\/strong>, providing individuals with the optimum ball for their game based on shaft lean and attack angle, using data established from Swing DNA and SO3D results. Recommendations will be between the RB Tour, RB Tour X and new RB566V balls.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fdepiquegolf%2Fvideos%2F551242685490813%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=476\" width=\"476\" height=\"476\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The capacity for driver shaft fitting will be the first of its kind, utilizing bending profiles, as per Mizuno\u2019s renowned iron fitting, which will allow Mizuno fitting experts to establish exactly which shaft in the <strong>Mizuno ST200 driver<\/strong> will best suit any individual.<\/p>\n<p>Since its introduction in 2010, Mizuno\u2019s Shaft Optimizer has become the favoured iron shaft fitting tool of golf professionals worldwide. Measuring five critical dynamics within the swing (Mizuno Swing DNA), the Optimizer is able to recommend an iron shaft best matched to any golfer\u2019s movement. Mizuno measures every shaft in-house to establish a map of EI curves to which it then matches the swing profiles. The new <strong>Bluetooth Optimizer<\/strong> enables Mizuno\u2019s club fitters to capture swing data directly to the software, run from an iPad or iPhone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99025\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Mizuno-Fitting-DNA-2020-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Mizuno-Fitting-DNA-2020-2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Mizuno-Fitting-DNA-2020-2-300x156.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A recent upgrade saw a <strong>Gyro<\/strong> added to the Shaft Optimizer\u2019s existing strain gauges, which allows Mizuno\u2019s experienced fitters to digitally recommend a far more accurate lie angle than the traditional method of lie tape and strike board. The Gyro enables the club\u2019s swing plane to be measured in 3D space along with shaft dynamics, ignoring face rotation through impact for a more accurate lie angle reading. Using a combination of the Gyro and strain gauges which run throughout the shaft, Mizuno is now able to capture 40 data points from every swing.<\/p>\n<p>The added capability of fitting for balls and drivers further enhances the fitting experience Mizuno can offer.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis is a great step forwards for the whole fitting process,\u201d<\/em> says <strong>Bill Price<\/strong>, Director of Fitting at Mizuno. <em>\u201cIn terms of the golf ball, being fitted for the correct model to suit your playing style can greatly improve performance. With regards shaft fitting for the ST200 driver, we\u2019re ahead of the curve on this one. Using the same technologies as our iron shaft fitting enables us to precisely recommend shaft options for individual players.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s launch monitor era, Mizuno sees the optimum club-fitting scenario as the Shaft Optimizer 3D in conjunction with a launch monitor rather than as an alternative. <em>\u201cLook at the Optimizer as a recommendation,\u201d<\/em> <strong>Bill Price<\/strong> explains, <em>\u201ca shortcut to taking 50 possible shaft options down to just three. The launch monitor can then measure the real world results of those three shafts.
