February 1, 2019 –\u00a0KBS Golf,<\/strong> the golf shaft of choice for many of the world\u2019s top-50 golfers including the current world No.1, has launched two new lightweight shafts to add to its growing list of options created by renowned designer Kim Braly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The KBS S-Taper LITE<\/strong>, which provides the same superior feel as the increasingly popular S-Taper Tour<\/em> in terms of performance, now comes in a lightweight package for accomplished players, while the MAX Graphite<\/strong> is designed for higher handicappers seeking a lighter shaft to maximize iron performance and make it easier to produce a higher trajectory.<\/p>\n

Designed for the better player looking for a lightweight performance shaft that will launch higher and produce more spin than its original, the latest S-Taper<\/em> model also offers feel and workability along with a tighter shot dispersion.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to be launching two new lighter shafts that offer a range of benefits for players of varying abilities,\u201d<\/em> said Kim Braly<\/strong>, R&D and Tour Operations Director. \u201cThe number of players choosing to play KBS on Tour speak volumes and the number of different shafts we have benefits players of all abilities,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a lot of positive feedback about how the S-Taper Tour performed since its launch last year and we\u2019re constantly looking of ways to adapt and improve our shafts and a lighter version was the obvious option,\u201d<\/em> said Kim.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The S-Taper LITE<\/strong> is available in taper tip in 95g R, 100g S and 105g X weights and flexes, plus parallel tip at 110g and blank 43.5\u201d combo flex.<\/p>\n

Featuring the same EI curve of the MAX Steel shaft, each MAX Graphite<\/strong> shaft is custom fit with the player\u2019s swing speed matched to the weight of the club. It\u2019s available from March in parallel tip in 45, 55, 65, 75- and 85-gram weights.<\/p>\n
