This is the first international competition held exclusively for participants in wheelchairs, promoted by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/cleveland-golf-srixon-sebas-lorente-renueva-el-patrocinio-con-sus-marcas\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Sebas Lorente<\/a><\/strong>, golfer of this type of adapted golf.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sergio Garcia<\/strong> who, along with the Deporte y Desaf\u00edo Foundation, established the foundations of adapted golf in Spain in 2003, has had the opportunity to compete alongside Sebasn Lorente several times, and with other professionals like <strong>Pablo Larrazabal, Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez-Casta\u00f1o, Beatriz Recari, Miguel Angel Jimenez<\/strong> and <strong>\u00c1lvaro Quir\u00f3s<\/strong>, they all wish him the best in this endeavour.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>European Challenge for Wheelchair Golfers<\/strong> will have<strong> <\/strong>with the participation of the best golfers in the category (SCI) from Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Israel, who practice this sport in <strong>Paragolfer <\/strong>or<strong> Powergolfer<\/strong>, vehicles specially designed for this adaption of the sport. The winner of the tournament will be decided at the Club de Golf Terramar, over 36 holes Stableford Scratch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adapted golf<\/strong>, which is becoming more consolidated and has a constantly increasing number of players worldwide, has served to demonstrate that barriers no longer impede the practice and enjoyment of a highly recommended sport for people with either physical or intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Sebastian-Lorente-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sebastian-Lorente-1\" src=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Sebastian-Lorente-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sebas Lorente<\/strong>, promoter of the European Challenge for Wheelchair Golfers, says: <em>&#8220;At last, those of us who play golf in wheelchairs will be able to hold our own event, and ever better, in Terramar, which has always been my club.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cUntil now we have always competed in adapted golf tournaments with participants who have other disabilities, but what truly motivates us is to have the opportunity to measure ourselves against each other, on equal conditions.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I want to show my gratitude to the Club de Golf Terramar and all the sponsors who are supporting the event, and the participants, who are coming from various different countries and have the same enthusiasm as me.
