20 Agosto 2026 – Golf fans will have the rare opportunity to stay at the very resort hosting the Ladies European Tour‘s season finale this November, playing the courses by day and watching the professionals compete on those same fairways, all without leaving the grounds, as La Cala Resort prepares to host the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, taking place from 26–29 November 2026.

Set among the hills of Mijas and spanning 400 hectares, La Cala is one of Europe’s largest golf resorts, providing the ideal base for visitors looking to combine world-class tournament golf with a winter escape in southern Spain.

The season finale will bring together the leading names on the Ladies European Tour for the final tournament of the year, providing a fitting climax to the 2026 campaign, with La Cala’s guests, uniquely, watching it unfold from inside the venue itself.

With accommodation on sale now, and daily entry to the tournament included for every guest, a perk rarely offered even by resorts that host professional events, La Cala is offering golf fans the chance to turn tournament week into a golf break unlike any other on the Costa del Sol.

It is a proposition rarely found in European golf. Few resorts stage a professional tour event on their own courses while also housing spectators within walking distance of the action, and fewer still include entry to the tournament during the length of their stay. At La Cala, both are true: visitors can play a round in the morning, then step from the clubhouse to the gallery ropes to watch some of the best players in the women’s game compete for the season’s biggest title that same afternoon.

Rather than travelling in for the day, guests staying at La Cala will be immersed in the atmosphere from the moment they arrive, with the hotel, golf courses, restaurants and clubhouse all forming part of the championship environment throughout the week.

Away from the fairways, guests can unwind in the resort’s spa, restaurants and bars, while the traditional streets and shops of Mijas, and the beaches and nightlife of the wider Costa del Sol, are all within easy reach for those extending their stay.

![""]("https://hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/mygolfway/uploads/2026/08/La-Cala-Resort-LET-2.jpg")
