It features a \u201c.2\u201d plumbing neck for moderate toe flow and leverages multiple alignment cues, including a Tri-Line sight line as well as the putter head\u2019s T-Crown design and open slots, or \u201cwindows\u201d, which help frame the golf ball at address. The 3.2 employs a full-face Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert with chain-link face milling to fine-tune sound and feel while preserving ball speed off the face.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cThe mid-mallet category is really popular on tour, and the 3.2 was basically designed to blend together different iconic Cameron shapes from the past,\u201d<\/em> explained <strong>Austie Rollinson<\/strong>, Senior Director of Putter R&amp;D for Scotty Cameron.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cThe face profile was influenced by the Red X model. The rounded footprint has some of the GOLO 6 in it. We wanted to bring in the T-Crown detail of the Phantom 9, which allows the sight line to stretch the length of the head from front to back. It also can change the low part of the arc as well so that the stroke bottoms out sooner, causing players to hit slightly up on the ball and generate forward roll.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Phantom 12&#8217;s larger, confidence-inspiring footprint is complemented by a long, single sight line for precise alignment. Like the 3.2, the 12 also leverages a T-Crown feature as an additional alignment and framing cue, and a mid-single-bend shaft configuration for minimal toe flow rounds out the setup. In testing, \u00c5berg was drawn to the alignment features of the model\u2019s overall head shape as well as the sound and feel of the Studio Carbon Steel insert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the eight rounds played with his 3.2, \u00c5berg has gained a total of +5.127 strokes on the greens. His average of +0.641 per round after the move would currently rank eighth on TOUR, a jump from his rank of 59th (+0.169) before putting the mid-mallet in play.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also gaming the Phantom 3 head shape is Titleist Brand Ambassador <strong>Ryan Gerard<\/strong>, who finished runner-up at the Memorial with his Phantom 3 tour prototype gamer and climbed to a career-best OWGR rank of 23rd.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cI like that it&#8217;s a smaller mallet,\u201d<\/em> said <strong>Ryan Gerard<\/strong> in early 2026. <em>\u201cSome of the larger mallets, coming from a blade, they kind of get a little bit noisy when I&#8217;m looking down at it, just seeing a lot of clubhead. But this is a really sleek design, everything kind of blends in&#8230; The putter just kind of glides nicely and everything looks clean, very compact and very square too, which is what I really like.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Phantom 3 tour prototype model has also been used to win multiple LPGA titles in 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phantom 12 prototypes first appeared on tour in February of this year and have since been gamed on both the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour.
