June 29, 2026 – Scotty Cameron<\/strong> introduces the Phantom 3.2 <\/strong>and Phantom 12 <\/strong>putter models, bookending the tour-proven 2026 Phantom lineup with new mid-mallet and high-MOI mallet designs to target distinct player needs and preferences:<\/p>\n Every model in the 2026 Phantom lineup is crafted and precision milled to deliver a softer sound and feel while preserving feedback off the putter face.<\/p>\n Landing in golf shops worldwide this summer, <\/strong>the new 3.2 and 12 models complement Phantom\u2019s diverse range of head and neck configurations with tour-inspired shaping for more confidence over the ball.<\/p>\n MODEL OVERVIEW<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n SCOTTY CAMERON PHANTOM 3.2<\/strong><\/p>\n The new Scotty Cameron Phantom 3.2 model is a compact, maneuverable mid-mallet that blends rounded contours with clear, straight lines. It features a \u201c.2\u201d plumbing neck for moderate toe flow and leverages multiple alignment cues, including a Tri-Line sight line as well as the putter head\u2019s T-Crown design and open slots, or \u201cwindows\u201d, which help frame the golf ball at address. The 3.2 employs a full-face Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert with chain-link face milling to fine-tune sound and feel while preserving ball speed off the face.<\/p>\n \u201cThe mid-mallet category is really popular on tour, and the 3.2 was basically designed to blend together different iconic Cameron shapes from the past,\u201d<\/em> explained Austie Rollinson<\/strong>, Senior Director of Putter R&D for Scotty Cameron.<\/p>\n \u201cThe face profile was influenced by the Red X model. The rounded footprint has some of the GOLO 6 in it. We wanted to bring in the T-Crown detail of the Phantom 9, which allows the sight line to stretch the length of the head from front to back. And then lastly, the \u2018slots\u2019 really came from the old Kombi model, which is a great way of both removing weight and creating an additional alignment feature.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Phantom 3.2 is designed for players who prefer:<\/strong><\/p>\n SCOTTY CAMERON PHANTOM 12<\/strong><\/p>\n The Phantom 12 is a larger mallet with the deepest and lowest CG in the Phantom lineup, unlocked by its multi-material construction and ring-weighted design.<\/p>\n Space Gray aluminum comprises the putter\u2019s face and mid-body, while heavier stainless steel is concentrated lower and towards the perimeter of the head to increase stability and forgiveness. Steel makes up approximately 65% of the model\u2019s total head weight.<\/p>\n \u201cThe CG of the Phantom 12 gives golfers a pretty unique feel through the stroke,\u201d<\/em> said Austie Rollinson<\/strong>. \u201cIt\u2019s that distance between the CG of the head and the putter\u2019s shaft axis that gives them that feel of stability when they’re swinging it. It also can change the low part of the arc as well so that the stroke bottoms out sooner, causing players to hit slightly up on the ball and generate forward roll.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The Phantom 12’s larger, confidence-inspiring footprint is complemented by a long, single sight line for precise alignment. Like the 3.2, the 12 also leverages a T-Crown feature as an additional alignment and framing cue, and a mid-single-bend shaft configuration for minimal toe flow rounds out the setup. Its aluminum face utilizes chain-link milling to produce a soft yet solid feel with ample feedback.<\/p>\n Phantom 12 is designed for players who prefer:<\/strong><\/p>\n NEW PHANTOM MODELS ON TOUR<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Since their respective launches across worldwide professional tours, Phantom 3 and Phantom 12 tour prototype models have both been played at the game’s highest levels.<\/p>\n The Phantom 3 head, which first debuted on tour in July of 2025, has been a popular choice for players seeking the performance benefits of a mid-mallet in a compact, rounded profile.<\/p>\n Ludvig \u00c5berg<\/strong> recently made the move to a Phantom 3.2 tour prototype putter at the Charles Schwab Challenge. In testing, \u00c5berg was drawn to the alignment features of the model\u2019s overall head shape as well as the sound and feel of the Studio Carbon Steel insert.<\/p>\n Over the eight rounds played with his 3.2, \u00c5berg has gained a total of +5.127 strokes on the greens. His average of +0.641 per round after the move would currently rank eighth on TOUR, a jump from his rank of 59th (+0.169) before putting the mid-mallet in play.<\/p>\n Also gaming the Phantom 3 head shape is Titleist Brand Ambassador Ryan Gerard<\/strong>, who finished runner-up at the Memorial with his Phantom 3 tour prototype gamer and climbed to a career-best OWGR rank of 23rd.<\/p>\n \u201cI like that it’s a smaller mallet,\u201d<\/em> said Ryan Gerard<\/strong> in early 2026. \u201cSome of the larger mallets, coming from a blade, they kind of get a little bit noisy when I’m looking down at it, just seeing a lot of clubhead. But this is a really sleek design, everything kind of blends in… The putter just kind of glides nicely and everything looks clean, very compact and very square too, which is what I really like.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n A Phantom 3 tour prototype model has also been used to win multiple LPGA titles in 2026.<\/p>\n Phantom 12 prototypes first appeared on tour in February of this year and have since been gamed on both the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour.
