Holton, now ranked No. 1 in the world, is the only player in the men\u2019s <strong>Open Division<\/strong> to win multiple events this year (3).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Holton\u2019s championship-winning drive was 471 yards, a new career-long and the second highest of the event. Holton\u2019s winning drive is the longest championship-winning drive in World Long Drive\u2019s 51-year history.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-Hlton-Champion-25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-169024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-Hlton-Champion-25.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-Hlton-Champion-25.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-Hlton-Champion-25-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Scottie Pearman<\/strong> hit the longest drive of the 2025 season in the semifinals at 486 yards; he finished as the runner-up to Holton with a 459-yard drive in the final.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k4jhvCReMlY?si=d0kGD-LnbKwE8kPI\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kelly Rudney<\/strong>, 50, set a World Long Drive record, becoming the oldest woman to ever win a World Championship after blasting a 409-yard drive in the final round of the <strong>World Long Drive Women\u2019s Division <\/strong>World Championship. She beat World No. 1 <strong>Monica Lieving<\/strong> 413 yards to 380 yards in the final.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rudney\u2019s longest drive of the event was 413 yards, one yard short of the women\u2019s world record (414 yards, Phillis Meti). Rudney is now a three-time winner on the World Long Drive tour, including a win at WLD Endless Summer in Belleville, Ontario, earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-25-Rudney-champion.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-169025\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mygolfway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-25-Rudney-champion.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-25-Rudney-champion.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hundreds-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/mygolfway\/uploads\/2025\/09\/WLD-25-Rudney-champion-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mike Dobbyn<\/strong> won his second world championship, taking home the <strong>Senior Division<\/strong> title with a 403-yard drive in the final to outlast 2023 Senior World Champion <strong>Ryan Reisbeck<\/strong>. Dobbyn, who won his first world championship in 2007, joins <strong>David Mobley <\/strong>and<strong> Jason Zuback<\/strong> as the only players to win a World Long Drive World Championship in both the Open Division and the Senior Division. Dobbyn\u2019s longest drive of the event was 405 yards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And <strong>Tanner Pipes<\/strong> won the <strong>Amateur Division<\/strong> championship with a 396-yard drive in the final round to win his first career world championship.
