April 24, 2025 \u2013 PING<\/strong>, the innovation-driven golf brand that pioneered club fitting and made the game easier for golfers around the world, has announced an agreement to sponsor LIV Golf<\/strong>\u2019s Torque GC<\/strong> team, captained by long-time PING<\/strong> pro Joaquin Niemann<\/strong>. The sponsorship officially begins this week at LIV Golf Mexico City<\/strong> April 25-27.<\/p>\n

The all-Latin American team is made up of Joaquin Niemann<\/strong> (Chile), Mito Pereira<\/strong> (Chile), Sebastian Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>(Colombia) and Carlos Ortiz<\/strong> (Mexico).<\/p>\n

\u201cAll four of the Torque GC team members played PING equipment prior to turning professional and continue to do so today,\u201d<\/em> said PING CEO & President John K. Solheim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had strong relationships with each of them throughout their careers. They are great friends and tremendous competitors. We look forward to following their successes both as a team and individuals as they help increase PING\u2019s awareness to golfers around the world.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Niemann, the team captain and currently the #1 ranked player in the League, has notched four individual wins since joining the circuit in 2022, including two of the first four events this season. He also prevailed on the Asian Tour late last year at the Saudi International, claiming the title and the distinction of being the first to win with PING\u2019s new G440 driver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy first set of PING clubs was one of their junior sets and I\u2019ve had PING clubs in my bag ever since,\u201d<\/em> said Joaquin Niemann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Munoz, Ortiz and Pereira have also distinguished themselves as champions over the years, counting 25 global wins among them while relying on PING equipment. Torque GC has won four team events since being formed in 2023.<\/p>\n

All four players will play with PING clubs<\/strong>, wear PING branded headwear<\/strong> and carry a PING staff bag<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
