With over two decades of invaluable experience in the golf industry, encompassing diverse operational, managerial, leadership, and sales roles, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio joins the Finca Cortesin team from Santa Maria Golf & Country Club<\/strong> in Panama.<\/p>\n

His extensive career has taken him to various corners of the world, including the USA, Portugal, and Spain, contributing to his well-established connections within the industry.<\/p>\n

As Director of Golf, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio will enhance the legacy of hosting the Solheim Cup, utilising the resort\u2019s position as one of the foremost golf destinations in the world to drive new membership and real estate opportunities.<\/p>\n

Renowned for its immaculate conditioning and undulating layout, Finca Cortesin\u2019s magnificent Cabell Robinson-designed golf course provided the perfect setting for one of the most dramatic editions of the Solheim Cup, as Europe came from behind to retain the trophy after a thrilling 14-14 draw.<\/p>\n
