January 12, 2022 – Save the date! Face-to-face golf shows return in 2022.<\/strong> They may not be as intense as before the pandemic, as the Omicron variant is raising the bar for travel-related testing, and hall access will require rigorous control against Covid-19. And although this circumstance affects professional confidence, the organizers and the market look favorably towards the new year of golf.<\/p>\n

Moving ahead after the online events, which will surely continue due to their ease and the efficient use of technology, the idea of going to shows, congresses, conferences, conventions, fam trips, etc.,<\/strong> is attractive, isn\u2019t it? After a great season for golf in 2021, a positive attitude is palpable in the sector, especially knowing that there is a huge pent-up demand for everything related to golf (tourism, equipment, machinery, events…).<\/p>\n

The world is in a much better situation than last year, with high levels of vaccination, and it is expected that, as the season progresses, we will gradually adapt to a changeable new reality. That is why we have decided to present this international calendar of golf shows 2022, which we invite you to consult, as managers, greenkeepers, architects, golf course staffs, PGA professionals, tour operators, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, agencies, agents, companies in the golf industry and golfers in general.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

From the long list, we highlight two powerful shows that are NOW in January: FITUR<\/strong> in Madrid, a key event for golf tourism in Spain, and the PGA Merchandise Show<\/strong> in Orlando, which will show the world the main innovation in golf equipment.<\/p>\n

We will also be on the lookout for trade shows in the UK where there have been some changes, such as BIGGA Turf Management <\/strong>in Harrogate, which has been postponed until March. And the other highlight of the agenda will be the International Golf Travel Market<\/strong>, which will be held in Rome next October, in anticipation of the Ryder Cup 2023.<\/p>\n

And although we still lack a monographic golf show in Spain, throughout the year there will be events such as the Business Meeting of the Spanish Association of Golf Courses (AECG)<\/strong>, the Congress of the Spanish Association of Golf Managers (AEGG)<\/strong>, the Congress of the Spanish Association of Greenkeepers (AEdG)<\/strong>, and the Congress of the PGA of Spain<\/strong>, on dates and venues yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n
