The new-look line-up will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a major upgrade in all the Costa Brava resort\u2019s facilities, with its two 18-hole championship golf courses, four-star hotel and leisure amenities all receiving an extensive overhaul.<\/p>\n Leading Empord\u00e0\u2019s team will be new general manager Miguel Girb\u00e9s<\/strong>, who has a wealth of experience in the Spanish and European golf market having previously worked in key roles at Finca Cortesin Hotel, Golf & Spa and PGA Catalunya Resort.<\/p>\n Assisting him will be the resort\u2019s new sales manager Anna Ciurana<\/strong> and digital marketing manager Carles Pintiado<\/strong>, with Ferran Palau<\/strong> taking over as director of golf and Adrian Gonzalez <\/strong>being appointed as head greenkeeper.<\/p>\n Heading the transformation of Empord\u00e0\u2019s 87-room hotel will be new hotel manager Nuria Font<\/strong>, with head chef Vicen\u00e7 Fajardo<\/strong> being brought in to create a new restaurant concept in the redesigned dining areas.<\/p>\n \u201cThese are exciting times for Empord\u00e0 and we\u2019re all thrilled to have this opportunity to play a leading part in creating a new chapter in the resort\u2019s history\u201d,<\/em> says Miguel Girb\u00e9s<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt that Empord\u00e0 has the potential to be rated alongside the very best golf venues in Europe.
