I hope that the pages I\u2019ve produced on paper during a decade have helped you to understand better the design, technology and performance of golf equipment, to have more criteria when choosing and buying golf clubs, and I specially hope that you have been able to enjoy more your game on the course.<\/span><\/p>\n

During these 15 years in the golf magazine<\/strong>\u00a0I was fortunate to travel to Carlsbad (California) and visit the factories of different multinationals, to cover their product launchings in Germany, England, Scotland, USA and Spain, and to personally meet -and interview in many cases- prestigious personalities and gurus of the golf industry such as\u00a0Ely Callaway<\/strong>\u00a0(Callaway Golf) \u2013DEP\u2013,\u00a0John A. Solheim<\/strong>\u00a0(PING),\u00a0Mark King<\/strong>\u00a0(TaylorMade),\u00a0Steve Pelisek<\/strong>\u00a0(Titleist),\u00a0Greg Hopkins\u00a0<\/strong>(Cleveland Golf),\u00a0Tom Stites<\/strong>\u00a0(Nike Golf),\u00a0Katsuhiro Miura<\/strong>\u00a0(Miura),\u00a0Jesse Ortiz<\/strong>\u00a0(Bobby Jones),\u00a0Dr. Alan Hocknell<\/strong>\u00a0(Callaway ),\u00a0Benoit Vincent<\/strong>\u00a0(TaylorMade Golf),\u00a0Roger Cleveland<\/strong>\u00a0(Callaway Golf),\u00a0Bob Vokey<\/strong>\u00a0(Titleist),\u00a0Brad Schweigert<\/strong>\u00a0(PING),\u00a0Adam Sheldon<\/strong>\u00a0(Cleveland \/ Never Compromise),\u00a0Dave Ortley<\/strong>\u00a0(adidas Golf),\u00a0Jim Flick<\/strong>\u00a0(TaylorMade Golf),\u00a0Andy Kikidas<\/strong>\u00a0(Mizuno) or\u00a0Paul Monks<\/strong>\u00a0(Callaway Golf).<\/p>\n

My background as a sports journalist has gone through<\/strong>\u00a0Dicen\u2026, L\u2019Esportiu de Catalunya, the Olympic Office (Barcelona City Council), Institut d\u2019Estad\u00edstica de Catalunya (Generalitat de Catalunya), the Olympics Games of Barcelona (COOB\u201992), Trade Sport (Sport Panel), Solo Golf (Alesport), and now I am the Editor of MyGolfWay.com<\/strong>, a project which seeks to take advantage of my knowledge in the golf industry and provide continuity through an online platform.<\/p>\n

Now that I have gone digital I hope to reach<\/strong>, via Internet, many more golf amateurs and fans of golf than in my previous stage. I might not be a very good golfer (a resigned 28 Handicap), but I am truly passionate about golf in general, an about golf equipment in particular. This blog is for those who appreciate the imagination, effort, dedication, R & D and investment in the brands of clubs, balls, gloves, shoes, bags, clothes and other accessories, seeking to make golf easier, more confortable, more fun and more competitive for all of us.<\/p>\n
