The YOCPA Project, Youth Orchestra and Choir Professional Academies,  and Jordi Savall are opening a new Call for Vocal Auditions for their artistic programme 2025-2028.

YOCPA 2.0 is a project created and led by Jordi Savall, managed by the Centre Internacional de Música Antiga (Fundació CIMA), with the support of the European Union. This initiative offers training and job opportunities for emerging musicians through a mix of in-person and online academies. Each academy lasts between 8 and 12 days. During this time, the orchestra and choir musicians study, rehearse, and perform the artistic program under the direction of Jordi Savall and Lluís Vilamajó.

REQUIREMENTS

• Musicians up to 35 years old at the moment of sending the application.
• Complete and submit the Application Form. This includes filming yourself playing specific pieces, which you can find here: Mandatory Pieces
• Understand the working conditions of the YOCPA project. Every academy is divided in two parts: academy of preparation and academy of perfection.

According to the terms and conditions of our agreement with the European Union, the academies of preparation are considered training days. These days are NOT remunerated. On the other hand, the academies of perfection are FULLY remunerated. Concerts are considered working days and therefore they are also remunerated.

The deadline to submit the application is July 2nd, 2025 at 18:00h (CET).  

We will make a preselection of the applicants, and we will communicate the results via email. The chosen candidates will be invited to participate in a face-to-face audition. These will take place on September 2025 (1-5) in Barcelona. We will send more details at a later stage.
