Hispania & Japan dialogues

“Hispania & Japan” is a tribute to the victims of the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck the country of the rising sun.

It is also a show of respect and admiration for Japanese culture and tradition.

The work underlines the dialogue that Spanish and Japanese music maintained since the 16th century, specifically since the arrival of the director of the Society of Jesus, Francisco Javier, in Kagoshima in 1549.
